The Marine Corps recently deployed its powerful L-MADIS counter UAS system on its multi-billion dollar USS Kearsage amphibious assault ship on its trip through the Suez Canal.
The L-MADIS, Light Marine Air Defense Integrated system, was used to protect the ship against unexpected UAS threats by providing reliable detection, identification and a “soft kill” solution against small UAS.
Ascent Vision contributed its CM202U gyrostabilized optics to the L-MADIS project as well as software integration services of the graphic user interface and other CUAS components.
