Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT) is displaying several of its products, including the uniquely capable X-MADIS system, at the upcoming Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI). The event, held in London, UK, September 10-13, is a leading exhibition that connects governments, national armed forces, industry thought leaders and the global defense & security supply chain. AVT will be located in Stand N4-270 and will also have a presence in the Team Defence Australia Pavilion.
The mission of the X-MADIS is to detect, locate, track, identify and defeat small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) by combining the capabilities of radar, optics, radio frequency detection and electronic command and control mitigation of the aircraft. The X-MADIS is unique in that it accomplishes the mission while the unit is static or on the move.
In addition to the X-MADIS, AVT’s CM202U and CM262 imaging systems will also be on display. Both are robust, rugged gyro-stabilized imaging systems that incorporate AVT’s innovative software technology.
The CM202U is a gyro-stabilized, multi-sensor imaging system specifically designed for counter UAS operations (CUAS). The entire system is man-portable and can be easily carried in a backpack. The robust CM202U has been tested and developed to suit a range of climates and environments.
The CM262 is a portable gyro-stabilized optic for ground ISR and CUAS use that incorporates four cutting-edge sensor configurations in a compact system that weighs under 30lb/12kg.
“Our products are successfully supporting a wide variety of initiatives around the globe,” said Lee Dingman, AVT President and Chief Commercial Officer. “We look forward to sharing our innovative solutions with the key decision-makers in the global security and defense sectors who will be attending DSEI.”
Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT) specializes in gyro-stabilized imaging systems, fully integrated solutions and innovative software for ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), air defense and counter drone operations for the defense and aerospace industry and unmanned systems industry. AVT’s pioneering systems are supporting airborne, ground and maritime missions around the world. Founded in 2015 by combat veterans of the U.S. Military, AVT has since become leaders in various disciplines, including counter drone technology, aerial firefighting sensors and surveillance systems, offering custom innovations as well as a range of field proven solutions.
